POMINI Long Rolling Mills supports inclusive mobility in Legnano
The official handover ceremony for the new vehicle dedicated to the guaranteed mobility project took place in the courtyard of Palazzo Malinverni. This initiative is sponsored by the Municipality of Legnano and implemented in collaboration with Uildm and Pmg Italia.
POMINI Long Rolling Mills is proud to have contributed to this important project, which strengthens the services offered to the most vulnerable members of the community and promotes a model of a caring, supportive and inclusive community.
The vehicle assigned to Uildm – a long-standing association based in the former ILA park – represents a key component of “La scuola si fa città”, a project that aims to transform urban spaces into places of learning, participation and social integration. In this context, guaranteed mobility becomes a genuine bridge of connection: it allows people living in the park and the most vulnerable groups to stay in touch with the rest of the city, reducing barriers and isolation.
Thanks to the provision of the vehicle on a free loan basis, it will be possible to ensure:
- transport to work,
- transport for medical appointments,
- support for social activities,
- home delivery of medicines and meals.
A concrete gesture that improves the quality of daily life for many people and demonstrates the strength of a local network capable of working as a team.
“As a company deeply rooted in the Legnano area, we believe it is essential to support initiatives that generate social value and inclusion. Guaranteed mobility is an essential service for those who need proximity, accessibility and continuity of care.”
POMINI Long Rolling Mills’ contribution forms part of the corporate social responsibility programme the company has been pursuing for years, with a particular focus on people, the community and the local area.
